Minister Marilyn D. Brown
Minister Marilyn D Brown is a native of Fincastle, Virginia, and the proud mother of two sons.
She was licensed to preach the Gospel on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Main Street Baptist Church in Clifton Forge, Virginia, under the leadership of Reverend Preston K. Tyler.
Minister Brown currently serves as an Associate Minister at Hill Street Baptist Church in Roanoke, Virginia, where she continues to serve faithfully under the direction of Reverend Preston K. Tyler, Senior Pastor. Her ministry roles have included Co-Chair of the Women’s Ministry and Assistant Superintendent of the Sunday School.
Called by God to preach, teach, and boldly proclaim the Word, Minister Brown lives by a simple yet powerful declaration: “I am a child of God seeking to see Jesus.”
Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”

Minister Monica Callaway
Minister Monica Callaway, M.Div., QMHP-A, graduated from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University with a Master of Divinity degree.
Grounded in a tradition of prophetic witness and transformative ministry, Minister Monica’s formation has been shaped by a strong dedication to faith, justice, and community empowerment. Her theological training focused on pastoral care, womanist theology, and homiletics. She brings a thoughtful, compassionate presence to every space she serves. Minister Monica is committed to empowering individuals and communities for spiritual growth, healing, and liberation.
Additionally, Minister Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Radford University. She is also a Qualified Mental Health Professional for Adults.
Rev. Woodrow Walker, Jr.
Former Pastor, of the Coles Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, Virginia. Associate Minister of the Hill Street Baptist Church Roanoke Virginia. He has served with Big Brothers and Big Sister of Virginia and General Electric in Salem, Virginia. Past, Vice President of the Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, and Southwest Virginia. Past, volunteer for the Roanoke City Schools. Five years as a volunteer minister, for the Rescue mission of Roanoke Virginia. I am a member of the Miller Court Neighborhood Alliance. And trustee for the Bethlehem Bible College, Roanoke, VA.
Rev Walker is married to Viola Haynes-Walker. They are blessed with three Children: Terry, Karen, and Darius. In February 2001 Woodrow announced God’s Call to serve him in the Ministry.
