Through the love of Jesus Christ and the Word of God, Hill Street Baptist Church strives to empower each believer to live transformed lives and to cultivate a family of faith where all races, nationalities and sexes can joyfully experience “a oneness of heart”, soul and life. Hill street Baptist Church strives to create an atmosphere where YAHWEH (God) can be reverenced, adored, and exalted in all His fullness.
The Church Vision
Hill Street Baptist Church exists for the purpose of cultivating and liberating the families of this church and the broader community of the Roanoke Valley and vicinity. It is our God-given desire to meet the needs of the whole person, the spiritual, the economical, the social and the emotional by reflecting the love of Christ. By shining as a beacon light of refuge and peace infusing the hope of Jesus Christ into the hearts of the downtrodden by providing a loving Christ-centered family oriented environment where the spontaneous worship of God is enjoyed.
